- Must be enrolled in a public or alternative high school.
- Must be between the ages of 16-18.
- Must be drug free.
- Orange & Osceola County at-risk-students.
- Must receive recommendation from their high school counselor, minister, or community leader.
- Students are required to write a one-page essay on the following:
A. Why I should be selected to participate in the POPS Program?
B. What do I expect to gain from this experience and how will I apply it?
C. What I as a participant can contribute to the pops program?
- Students must sign a contract agreeing to meet all expectations of the program.
- Parents must sign a contract agreeing to attend a minimum of three parent/teacher conferences, ensure that their child reports to work on time, attends school regularly and attends POPS-sponsored workshops.
