POPS has a three-star approach to its mission and focus:

• First Star: Character Building
• Second Star: College and Career Exploration
• Third Star: Community and Civic Responsibility

POPS’ three-star approach is holistic. The three-star approach offers a relevant curriculum of workshops and other activities and experiences that are designed to have students gain specific knowledge, skills, attitudes, behaviors and values. At the same time, the three-star approach also teaches the students the social, emotional and other life skills that will contribute to their development and future success.
