Dorcas Dillard
District Manager

Dillard joined POPS in October 2011.  She began as the organization’s Development Director, and two years later assumed her current position as Program Manager. Through her work with our students, Dillard guides their participation in weekly and monthly curriculum activities designed to encourage on-time high school graduation, and the pursuit of a post-secondary education.  Dillard is committed to helping students reach their full potential by providing them with the skills necessary for personal success.

Over the years Dillard has successfully established key relationships with local businesses and community leaders to provide the organization with grants, sponsorships, and summer student internships.

Dillard considers herself a life-long volunteer and continues to donate her time to various community organizations.  Ocoee’s former Mayor, Scott Vandergrift proclaimed “Dorcas Dillard Day in Ocoee” on February 6, 2014 for her commitment to the community.  In 2016, Dorcas was named Ambassador of the Year and in 2013, she received the Chairman’s Award for her exceptional service to the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.  Dillard enjoys and participates in a variety of activities including aerobics, biking, jogging, skating and kickball.

Dillard has a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dillard lives with her husband in Ocoee, and has two adult daughters who are attending College.
